In 2025 the committee commissioned local artist, Madison Connors, proud Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung and Gamilaroi woman, mother of three and Creative Director of Yarli Creative to design artwork for our new playing shirts. This artwork would tell the story of our club from inception in 1989 until today. The artwork was then turned into shirts by Engage Athletic in time for Round 1 of the 2025 winter season.

The story behind the artwork
This artwork is a tribute to the strength of community, the passing of knowledge, and the unbreakable connections that tie past, present, and future together.
The boomerangs, scattered throughout the design, represent the passing of knowledge. They are not the center but rather woven into the story—just as knowledge is shared among players, families, and supporters, carried forward through generations. Each lesson, each experience, returns in a new form, shaping those who come next.
The yellow and green pay homage to the club’s old colors, a reminder of its history and the people who built its foundation. These colors represent resilience, pride, and the spirit of those who played before—whose legacy lives on in every match, every training session, and every moment of camaraderie.
At the heart of the piece are *circles with upside-down “U” shapes, symbolising the many communities and players who have come together. Each shape represents a person—a player, a supporter, a mentor—gathered around a shared purpose. The club is more than just a team; it is a place of belonging, where every individual is part of something greater.
Connecting everything are the lines that weave through the artwork, representing the continuous thread of connection. These lines show that no one stands alone—each person, each moment, is linked to another. Whether past or present, those who wear the club’s colors are forever part of its story.
This piece is more than just an artwork. It is a reflection of the journey, the people, and the deep-rooted connections that make this club what it is—a place where knowledge is passed on, history is honored, and community is everything.
